How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 principal contractor delivering a major healthcare development.

    This role will involve leading the successful delivery of a highly specialist Hybrid Theatre project within a live healthcare environment. These state-of-the-art facilities combine conventional operating theatres with advanced diagnostic imaging technology, creating complex clinical spaces that demand exceptional planning, coordination, and quality standards.

    As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, you will ensure programme, budget, quality, and compliance objectives are achieved.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage the day-to-day delivery of a complex healthcare construction project.
    Lead project teams to deliver works safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    Develop and manage project programmes, procurement schedules, and construction sequencing.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
    Coordinate specialist subcontractors and ensure effective collaboration across all disciplines.
    Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
    Manage project reporting, commercial awareness, change control, and project documentation.
    Support commissioning, handover, and successful project close-out.

    Requirements

    Proven experience as a Project Manager working for a Tier 1 principal contractor.
    Previous healthcare construction experience is essential.
    Experience delivering technically complex projects within live or operational healthcare environments.
    Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, programming, and contract administration.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and programme objectives.
    Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent).
    SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification preferred.
