Premier Education is seeking enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teachers for opportunities in primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your classroom experience or an experienced teacher seeking greater flexibility, we can offer work to suit your preferences. Opportunities include full-time and part-time roles, as well as day-to-day supply teaching.
The role
Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:
Teaching engaging and inclusive lessons in Years 5 or 6
Following existing lesson plans for daily supply assignments
Planning and delivering lessons for longer-term placements
Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Managing behaviour effectively and consistently
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

The ideal candidate
You will need:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 through employment or teaching placements
Confidence teaching the Upper KS2 curriculum
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for creating engaging learning opportunities
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
An enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable approach to teachingApplications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
