What you'll be doing:
* Perform and document mechanical maintenance on Conveyors, Pumps, Valves,
* Compressors, hydraulic and any Mechanical equipment found on a Biomass Power
* station.
* Excellent problem solving and solution resolution, able to demonstrate a working
* knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and
* techniques.
* Inspect, repair and maintain all types of mechanical systems.
* Maintain files, logs and drawings for all mechanical systems using the Computerised
* Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* To propose and develop modifications and improvements to plant / apparatus as
* appropriate
* Liaise with contractors carrying out mechanical tasks / projects to ensure compliance
* with company procedures
* Control of mechanical spares and consumables on site
What we're looking for:
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
* Qualified to at least HNC or equivalent in Engineering is desirable
* Detailed knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques associated with mechanical systems
* Understand and interpret mechanical drawings
* Ability to work on your own or as part of a team effectively and efficiently
