The Role
Office Angels are recruiting for a customer-focused Help Desk Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced service team based in Dartford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong customer service and coordination experience who is seeking a more measured and supportive working environment. While candidates from busy, high pressure call centre settings will be well suited to the role, this position offers a calmer pace without compromising on professionalism, accountability, or job satisfaction.
You will act as the first point of contact for customers, managing service enquiries, coordinating engineer callouts, and ensuring a professional and efficient service is always delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
Assess, prioritise, and log service requests, breakdowns, and emergency callouts.
Coordinate engineer attendance based on priority, location, and availability.
Provide customers with updates and ensure enquiries are followed through to resolution.
Monitor and manage shared inboxes and customer enquiries.
Accurately maintain records using internal systems and databases.
Escalate urgent issues, safety concerns, and complex queries where appropriate.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.About You
Previous experience within a customer service, helpdesk, call centre, service coordinator, or similar role.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Calm and composed under pressure, particularly when handling urgent situations.
Proficient in using CRM systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A proactive team player with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Experience within engineering, facilities management, maintenance, or a service-led environment would be advantageous but is not essential.Benefits
