* This opportunity will suit an Injection Moulding Technician who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industry
Role:
* The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
* As injection moulding setter it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
* To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team
* As injection moulding setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trials
* Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
* To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
* To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
* Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.
* To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
Experience:
* Injection moulding setting experience
* Recognised injection moulding qualification (preferable)
* Knowledge of materials such as PC, ABS, PA, PP, TPE etc
* Ability to work in a team
* Ability to troubleshoot
* Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane etc.)
* Self-motivated individual with a willingness to achieve KPI targets
