Semi Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice

We're looking for an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join a friendly, growing accountancy practice. If you've built a solid foundation in practice and are looking for greater responsibility, client exposure and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

* Producing management accounts and financial reports.

* Preparing VAT returns and assisting with personal and corporation tax.

* Supporting senior accountants with client portfolios.

* Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and building strong relationships.

* Assisting junior team members where appropriate.

* Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.

* AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA (or qualified by experience).

* Good knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT.

* Experience supervising junior staff.
