How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    THE ROLE
    As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible quality.

    Key responsibilities include:
    ·Repairing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair techniques.
    ·Removing, replacing, and refitting body panels and structural components where necessary.
    ·Carrying out chassis alignment and structural repairs using specialist equipment.
    ·Inspecting completed repairs to ensure they meet manufacturer and quality standards.
    ·Collaborating with estimators, paint technicians, and workshop colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround.
    ·Managing your workload effectively while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
    ·Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe, organised workspace.
    ·Contributing to a positive team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

    ABOUT YOU
    This opportunity would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Repair Technician who enjoys producing high-quality repairs and takes pride in their workmanship.

    You'll ideally have:
    ·Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
    ·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
    ·Strong knowledge of modern body repair techniques and manufacturer repair methods.
    ·Experience using body alignment systems and specialist repair equipment.
    ·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering first-class repairs.
    ·The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a busy workshop team.
    ·Strong organisational and time management skills.
    ·A full UK driving licence.
