The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
An Electronics Development Engineer with a good understanding of DFM/DFA and with knowledge of complex PCB assemblies will become a key member of a new team for an award-winning High-Tech Company developing cutting-edge imaging solutions for Security, Defence and Industrial customers.
Working closely with R&D, Manufacturing and quality teams you’ll be responsible for the electronics aspects of transitioning products from development through to scalable manufacturing; drawing on your electronics and PCB assembly manufacturing knowledge.
Qualified to Degree level in Electronics Engineering or similar, the successful Electronics Development Engineer will contribute to the development of a mission critical range of imaging systems used Worldwide. You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your skills with exposure to FPGA and image processing.
Skills and Experience for this Electronics role should include:
* Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline.
* Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within an electronic manufacturing environment.
* Industrial experience of using Altium PCB CAD.
* Solid understanding of DFM/DFA/DFT.
* Experience supporting products from prototype through to production for low to medium volume products.
* Proven experience of PCB assembly and electronics integration.
Exposure to video standards and USB great to see as is an understanding of software for automation and experience designing products to military standards.
