We're recruiting Teaching Assistants to work with primary and secondary schools across Cambridge and the surrounding Cambridgeshire area.

The Teaching Assistant role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers to help pupils access learning and feel confident in the classroom.
Depending on the school and age group, your responsibilities could include:
Supporting pupils during lessons
Working with individuals and small groups
Delivering interventions
Supporting reading, literacy and numeracy
Providing 1:1 classroom support
Supporting pupils with additional educational needs
Helping children remain engaged and focused
Preparing classroom resources
Encouraging confidence and independence
Who are we looking for?
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Assistant is desirable, but we can also consider candidates with relevant experience from childcare, nursery, tutoring, youth work, coaching or other child-focused settings.
You'll need to be patient, reliable and comfortable building positive professional relationships with children and school staff.
