Shift: 7:00am-12:00pm or 8:00am-1:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.92 per hour
Contract Dates: 24 August 2026 to 15 November 2026
DBS: Basic DBS required
Our client is looking for an Estate Services Operative to provide cleaning and estate services across two sites in Shipston-on-Stour.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean communal areas to a high standard, including lifts, stairwells, floors, walls and windows.
Keep refuse areas clean, tidy and safe.
Carry out litter picking and remove bulk rubbish and fly tipping.
Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
Use PPE and cleaning machinery correctly and report any faults or incidents.
Follow risk assessments, COSHH requirements and other health and safety procedures.
Assist with tasks such as snow clearance, gritting and minor repairs in communal areas when required.
Manage and report cleaning materials and equipment.
Use scheduling software to record daily activities.
Carry out other reasonable duties as directed.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in a cleaning, estate services or similar role.
Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
Physically able to carry out manual duties.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Basic DBS required.
Desirable:
NVQ or equivalent qualification in Cleaning or Environmental Services.
Willingness to obtain a relevant qualification during the assignment.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working across different sites.
