The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across Reception and Key Stage 1, providing tailored support to children with a range of additional needs. About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and achieve both academically and socially.
Working alongside experienced class teachers, the SENCO and wider inclusion team, you will deliver targeted interventions and provide one-to-one and small group support throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one and small group basis.
Working across Reception and Key Stage 1 classrooms.
Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
Supporting children's communication, emotional development and social skills.
Delivering interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation.
Contributing to an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.About You

A degree is advantageous but not essential.
