We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Dunstable seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join their thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to inspire students through engaging and creative lessons while developing literacy, analytical thinking, and confidence across KS3–KS4.

Role Overview:

Teach English across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
