How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Technical Delivery Consultant

    Hybrid – Bedfordshire Area (1 office day per week)
    Full-Time | Permanent
    £38,000 - £45,000 + On-Call Allowance + Share Options

    An established and growing software business is seeking a Technical Delivery Consultant to join its technical operations team supporting a modern web-based enterprise platform used by public sector and infrastructure-focused organisations across the UK.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable support professional with strong application troubleshooting and Azure administration experience who enjoys solving complex issues, working closely with customers, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

    The Role

    You will play a key role in delivering high-quality operational and technical support services for a business-critical hosted software platform. Working closely with internal development, infrastructure and professional services teams, you will help ensure customer environments remain stable, secure and performant.

    Responsibilities will include:

    * Supporting a web-based enterprise application environment

    * Investigating and resolving incidents in line with SLAs

    * Troubleshooting application, integration, API and data-related issues

    * Supporting production environments and service recovery activities

    * Assisting with deployments, updates and maintenance tasks

    * Providing technical guidance to customers and stakeholders

    * Supporting operational improvement and automation initiatives

    * Maintaining accurate service and incident records

    * Participating in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours activities

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential Skills & Experience

    * Hands-on Azure administration experience

    * Strong enterprise or bespoke application support background

    * Experience troubleshooting server-side applications and integrations

    * Knowledge of APIs, databases, services and multi-layer application environments

    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    * Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities

    * Experience working within SLA-driven support environments

    Desirable

    * Experience supporting GIS or mapping platforms

    * Experience within managed services or SaaS environments

    * Exposure to Agile delivery environments

    * Familiarity with ITIL or structured service management processes
