Project Manager – West Wales

Haystack Selection are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a well‑established manufacturing business in West Wales. This role will play a key part in delivering capital engineering projects across a busy production site.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget. This role is less hands‑on than the Project Engineer position and focuses more on coordination, leadership and project delivery.

The Role

As Project Manager you will take ownership of engineering projects across the site, working closely with engineering teams, contractors and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing capital engineering projects from initial planning through to completion

* Coordinating internal teams, contractors and suppliers

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with site compliance procedures

* Managing project timelines, budgets and resources

* Supporting shutdown planning and installation activities

* Ensuring all documentation, permits and safety procedures are followed

* Providing project updates to key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

* Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)

* Experience managing engineering or capital projects within manufacturing

* Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills

* Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
