The role
Depending on the opportunity, you could be teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Science or individual Biology, Chemistry or Physics courses at KS4 and KS5.
You may be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual students
Maintaining high standards of behaviour
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations where appropriate
Working collaboratively with Science department colleagues
We're looking for:
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A relevant Science degree or teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for Science and student achievement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
