Mechanical contractor operating within the engineering construction industry. We specialise in the installation of highly regulated process piping systems, serving blue-chip clients across the Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, and Petrochemical industries.
The Role:
We are seeking Mechanical Fitters to support an industrial process pipework installation project, with the role primarily focused on pressure testing activities and supporting Pipefitters with associated mechanical works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pressure testing activities on process pipework systems
- Preparation, assembly, and reinstatement of test lines and equipment
- Installation and removal of blinds, valves, spades, and test equipment
- Working from isometric drawings, GA drawings, and method statements
- Supporting mechanical installation activities where required
- Complying with all site rules, permit systems, and HSE requirements
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and housekeeping
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an industrial mechanical fitting role (NAECI or similar environment preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of site safety and permit-to-work systems
