Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Camden and the surrounding North London boroughs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified early years professionals looking to gain experience across a variety of nursery settings while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where they work. Whether you're looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
Previous experience working within nursery or EYFS settings
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
A caring, positive, and flexible approach to supporting young children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
Promoting children's social, emotional, and communication development
Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
Working collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education for all children
