THE ROLE This isn't box-ticking. You'll be the go-to expert on-site — diagnosing complex faults, optimising high-spec systems, and building genuine trust with high-end clients. You'll own your PPM diary, backed by a technical team when you need them.
What you'll be doing: ▸ Servicing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems across commercial, retail, and luxury residential sites ▸ Diagnosing and resolving complex faults with an analytical, methodical approach ▸ Carrying out system performance checks and optimisations ▸ Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation ▸ Upholding the company's reputation for first-time fix and client satisfaction

WHAT YOU'LL NEED Essential: ▸ 5+ years' field service engineering experience — Fire & Security preferred ▸ Working knowledge of NSI/SSAIB and BAFE standards ▸ Strong fault-finding ability; confident reading technical diagrams and manuals ▸ Excellent client-facing communication ▸ Based within close proximity to the M25, ideally north of the River Thames ▸ Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) ▸ ECS/CSCS card and clean H&S record ▸ NVQ apprenticeship or equivalent industry qualification ▸ FIA or equivalent certification ▸ Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
Nice to have: ▸ Advanced diagnostic techniques and fault-finding best practice ▸ Experience with remote monitoring platforms ▸ Up-to-date knowledge of current British Standards
