Salary: £43,500 per annum (including 22.6% shift uplift)

Aerospace Paint Sprayer – Responsibilities
*
Preparing and cleaning component surfaces prior to painting
*
Applying primers, topcoats, gloss, matt, lacquer and specialist coatings using spray equipment
*
Masking components using tapes, plugs and bungs to engineering drawings
*
Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
*
Unmasking finished components and carrying out touch-up work where required
*
Inspecting painted components for quality, coverage and defects
*
Measuring paint thickness and gloss levels to specification
*
Maintaining spray equipment, paint booths and work areas
*
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining consumable levels
Aerospace Paint Sprayer – Requirements
*
Previous experience in industrial, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing paint spraying
*
Strong surface preparation and precision finishing experience
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*
Understanding of paint application processes and quality standards
*
Knowledge of COSHH and the safe handling of paints and chemicals
*
Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
*
Comfortable working alternating shift patterns
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
