Description
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve operational challenges.
Proactively identify areas for improvement to optimise equipment performance and reliability.
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Provide technical support during breakdowns and emergencies.Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
Experience working in a similar position (3 years experience)
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an engineering context.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Job Offer
Competitive salary between £35,000 and £37,000.
Monday - Friday Days - 38.5 hours per week
