This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of apprenticeship delivery. Working in a field-based role across the East region, you’ll support trainers and assessors, ensuring high standards are consistently met and apprentices receive the very best training experience.
The Role
As an IQA Officer, you will:
* Quality assure apprenticeship delivery from induction through to end-point assessment
* Monitor and sample assessor and tutor performance to ensure consistency and compliance
* Provide coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement
* Support preparation for Ofsted inspections and awarding body audits
* Produce clear reports, action plans, and track progress
* Promote safeguarding, Prevent, and health & safety across all activity
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
* Assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, or TAQA)
* Proven experience in apprenticeship assessing or quality assurance
* Strong understanding of Ofsted, EPAO, and awarding organisation requirements
* Excellent communication, coaching, and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* IQA qualification (V1, D34, or equivalent)
* Teaching qualification (AET, PGCE, or equivalent)
* Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely)
* Experience with e-portfolio systems and quality management systems
