Hue Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team in Hemel Hempstead.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in line with company and legal requirements
* Complete multi-drop deliveries of construction materials
* Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Maintain accurate records of driving hours and vehicle inspections
* Operate tachograph equipment in accordance with regulations
* Deliver excellent customer service at all times
* Comply with all health and safety procedures
* Undertake other reasonable duties within the business when required
Skills & Requirements
* HGV Category C Licence (essential)
* Valid CPC Qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* HIAB / ALLMI Certification (preferred)
* Good understanding of transport legislation and safety requirements
* Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
Working Hours
* 44.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday: 06:45am – 4:15pm (including 1-hour unpaid break)
* Alternate Saturdays required (minimum 20 Saturdays per year)
* Additional weekday hours are accrued as Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), subject to management approval and workload requirements
