A successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs and drawings.
Experience in designing for industrial and manufacturing applications.
An understanding of materials and their applications in mechanical systems.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design and analysis.

Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position within the engineering and manufacturing sector.
Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, with flexibility around start times.
