The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Situated in the lovely setting of Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, ISP School provides specialist education for 7-18-year-olds with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs.

We are looking for an inspirational qualified teacher who has experience working with vulnerable children in school across key stages 3 & 4 and is prepared to teach/guide children with a good knowledge of the National Curriculum in more than one area preferably Functional Skills Maths and/or English..
Role Responsibilities
Teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class group.
Use our positive behaviour policy to hold our children to account and to enable them to become responsible citizens.
Motivate our children to want to access learning, develop a love of learning and thrive.
Requirements
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Successful teaching experience.
SEN experience with a focus on nurture for children with SEMH and ASC needs.
A good knowledge of the National Curriculum in more than one area preferably Maths or English.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Reflective practitioner.
A good understanding of therapeutic approaches to education.
Ability to adapt teaching to meet children's needs.
Proven ability to offer dynamic and engaging lessons.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, cost of which will be met by ISP School Battle.
