Due to continued growth, a medium-sized Water Treatment specialist is seeking a commercially focused and professional Water Treatment Account Manager. You will be overseeing new and developing contracts for Water Treatment, Water Hygiene and Legionella services, across East Anglia and the Home Counties. We can also consider candidates who have strong industry experience as a Service Chemist, who would like to train into Account Management, as our client can offer comprehensive training. We are seeking someone who is a confident communicator, with a proactive attitude and keen enthusiasm for the industry. Experience / Qualifications:
* Strong experience working as a Water Treatment Account Manager and / or Water Treatment Service Chemist
* Excellent technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* It would be beneficial to hold industry qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds WMSoc Legionella Risk Assessing, TMV servicing, NVQ Level 2 Plumbing)
* Ideally will have experience of managing client accounts
* Confident communicator
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Hardworking attitude
The Role:
* Overseeing regional growth across full Water Treatment, Water Hygiene and Legionella services
* Monitoring the progress of contracts, ensuring works are completed in line with agreed scope and deadlines
* Liaising with engineers to allocate workloads and discuss work requirements
* Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries
* Pricing for works and organising delivery of materials
* Supporting the recruitment process, interviewing and on-boarding members of staff
* Attending prospective client sites to scope for new contracts and establish requirements
* Upselling of further company services
* Identifying new business leads and opportunities
* Meeting with Directors to discuss company progress
* Handling complaints and logistical issues
* Maintaining and building strong relationships with clients
