Key Experience Required
We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor on a major project in Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong earthworks background, combined with proven experience delivering roads and deep drainage packages.
* Proven experience as a Groundworks Project Manager.
* Strong earthworks experience.
* Proven experience delivering roads and highways.
* Strong deep drainage experience.
* Temporary Works experience is essential.
* Experience managing Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and supply chains.
* Strong understanding of construction programmes, RAMS, drawings and specifications.
* Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs and variations.
* Strong health, safety and quality focus.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Role
You will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, managing site teams, subcontractors, resources and programme.
The project will involve significant earthworks, roads and deep drainage, so a strong technical understanding of groundworks and civil engineering is essential.
You will also be responsible for ensuring temporary works are properly planned, coordinated, designed, approved and implemented throughout the project.
