A well-respected, progressive company in central Norwich are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller.
They are looking for a Graduate in Accountancy & Finance, Economics, Maths, or Business who is looking to study ACCA or CIMA.
This is a newly created role offering structured development and broad exposure across Financial Control, FP&A, and Finance Operations.
The role:
Assisting with month‑end journals, reconciliations, and management accounts tasks
Drafting reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders
Preparing VAT working papers
Supporting audit deliverables and first‑line audit queries
Maintaining process and control documentation
Supporting the budgeting and quarterly reforecast cycle
Assist with the production of KPI and dashboard reporting
Running ad‑hoc analysis across revenue, cost, and headcount
Ensuring data accuracy within FP&A models
Daily bank postings, invoicing, and credit control
Purchase ledger processing and supplier onboarding check
Payment run preparation and expense compliance
Monthly reconciliations between finance and CRM systemsThe person:
A recent graduate, who is looking to study ACCA/CIMA>
Strong IT skills, in particular a good working knowledge of Excel.
A confident communicator and effective team player.
Ambitious.
