The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
As Senior Chassis Engineer, you will focus on the design and development of a bonded aluminium spaceframe chassis, working across concept, optimisation, and validation to deliver a lightweight, durable, and high‑quality vehicle platform.
The Senior Chassis Engineer will:
Design and develop aluminium chassis and Body‑in‑White structures.
Ensure effective component packaging within overall vehicle architecture.
Integrate NVH requirements into chassis and structural design solutions.
Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
Support FEA and CFD activities to optimise weight, stiffness, fatigue, and durability.
Lead and support chassis validation and testing activities, including correlation with simulation results.
The Senior Chassis Engineer will have:
A degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related engineering discipline.
Proven experience in chassis, BIW, or structural design within automotive or similar industries.
Strong knowledge of lightweight structures, ideally aluminium spaceframes and bonded architectures.
Proficiency in CAD tools and experience working with FEA analysis environments.
Experience with NVH, durability, validation, and test correlation activities.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills within structured engineering programmes.
This role allows you to contribute directly to a high‑performance vehicle programme through hands‑on engineering and cross‑functional collaboration.
