My client is looking for a Finance & Office Manager to take ownership of the finance function within a growing family business, offering genuine autonomy, variety and the opportunity to become a trusted part of the team.

As a Finance & Office Manager, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director, taking responsibility for the day-to-day finance function across several businesses. From bookkeeping, purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and payroll through to VAT returns, management accounts and year-end preparation, you’ll have the opportunity to use your financial expertise across a broad remit while also supporting the wider office and business projects.

The Finance & Office Manager role would suit an organised, proactive finance professional who enjoys working independently and takes pride in getting the detail right. Your experience with bookkeeping, payroll and Sage 50 will give you a strong foundation, while your natural curiosity and problem-solving approach will allow you to understand how the wider business operates and make informed decisions within your role.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

* £16.00–£18.00 per hour, depending on experience

* Flexible working of a minimum of 3 days per week, with additional hours available

* Genuine autonomy and responsibility across finance, office administration and HR

* Salary review following successful completion of your probationary period, plus pension and on-site parking
