Early Years Teacher - Enfield

Remedy Education are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming setting based in Enfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Teacher with strong EYFS experience who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs. The school is looking for someone who can create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment while helping children develop their communication, confidence, independence and social skills.

Role Details:

Position: Early Years Teacher
Location: Enfield, North London
Start Date: September
Pay: £200-£250 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Part-time or Contract
School Type: Specialist SEN / Early Years Setting

The Role:

As an Early Years SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate EYFS learning activities
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
Support children with a range of additional and special educational needs
Use play-based and structured learning to encourage communication, curiosity and independence
Adapt activities and teaching approaches to meet individual children's needs
Monitor progress through observation and assessment and use this to inform planning
Support children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the SEN team
Build strong, positive relationships with children and understand their individual needs
Maintain clear routines and promote positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriateThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate Early Years teaching qualification
Strong experience working within an EYFS setting
Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Confidence adapting learning to meet individual needs
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A calm, patient, nurturing and positive approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
