An established, family-run construction business with over 40 years’ experience is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its East London team.
The business specialises in refurbishment, heritage and internal/external construction projects, with projects typically valued at up to £1.5m.
The Contracts Manager will report directly to the Directors, working alongside the Quantity Surveyor and managing Site Managers across 3–4 projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage 3–4 refurbishment and heritage projects
* Oversee projects from commencement through to completion
* Manage Site Managers and project teams
* Develop and monitor project programmes
* Asta programming experience advantageous
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and compliance
* Oversee project documentation and reporting
* Monitor quality, progress, programme and risk
* Work closely with QS and Directors
* Conduct regular site visits
* Manage client and subcontractor relationships
