Are you a Sous Chef looking for a role that combines restaurant-quality food, creativity and international cuisine with genuine work-life balance?
We're recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join one of London's most exciting and progressive premium contract catering operations, delivering high-end corporate dining, vibrant street food concepts and globally inspired cuisine.
Monday-Friday. 6:30am-3:30pm. No evenings. £50k + paid overtime.
And importantly, this is not your typical B&I kitchen.
You'll be working in a dynamic, food-led environment where the offer genuinely rivals the high street, with multiple street food concepts, live cooking, restaurant-quality dining and constantly changing international menus.
THE CONCEPT
This is a premium corporate dining operation built around great food, creativity and current food trends.
The kitchen delivers a varied food offer including:
Global and international cuisine
Rotating street food concepts
Live cooking stations
Restaurant-quality staff dining
Seasonal and fresh food
Modern, trend-led menus
High-volume retail service
Premium hospitality and events
Chefs are encouraged to bring ideas to the table, influence menus and help develop new concepts rather than simply following a set menu.

THE ROLE
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead a busy, high-volume, multi-offer kitchen.
You'll play a key role in maintaining standards, developing the team and ensuring the food offer remains exciting, consistent and commercially successful.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading a high-volume retail food operation
Delivering creative street food and global cuisine concepts
Supporting menu development and seasonal food concepts
Helping introduce new dishes and food trends
Leading, training and developing the kitchen team
Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation
Managing service in a fast-paced environment
Supporting GP, stock and waste control
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
Driving creativity, innovation and continuous improvement
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This role could suit an experienced Sous Chef from premium contract catering, particularly someone with strong retail food experience.
Equally, we'd love to hear from restaurant, hotel or hospitality Chefs who have a strong passion for international cuisine and are looking to move into a premium B&I environment without compromising on food quality.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef, or be a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
Experience within contract catering, retail catering, restaurants, hotels or high-volume fresh food kitchens
A genuine passion for global cuisine, street food and modern food trends
Experience working with fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients
Strong leadership and team management skills
Confidence working in a high-volume kitchen
Good commercial awareness, including GP, stock and waste control
A hands-on approach and strong work ethic
Creativity and a desire to contribute ideas
Excellent organisation and communication skills
