We're looking for dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people thrive and gaining experience for future roles in education, psychology, or youth support.
Behavioural Support Assistant Role:
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour
Helping implement behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies
Assisting teachers in maintaining a calm, structured learning environment
Building positive relationships to encourage engagement and resilience
Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements:
Genuine interest in supporting young people
Patient, calm, and proactive
Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling preferred
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Experience with children or young people (desirable)
Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, or Psychologists
