🔍 Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor (Construction & Infrastructure)
£50,000-£53,000 + Company car/ Allowance

We’re working with a major UK construction and infrastructure organisation that’s looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to support head office and project teams in delivering the highest standards of HSE performance.
This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll collaborate closely with leadership, project teams, subcontractors, and partners to drive continual improvement across complex construction environments.
💡 The Role
Reporting to the Head of HSE, you’ll work across departments and live projects to:
- Provide practical HSE guidance, challenge, and assurance to project teams
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the Safety, Health & Environmental Management System
- Keep systems aligned with legislation, best practice, and client requirements
- Promote a strong behavioural safety culture through engagement and visibility
- Help ensure people go home safe — every day
🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out site inspections, audits, and reviews, recommending improvements where needed
- Supporting and contributing to incident, near miss, and close-call investigations
- Assisting with HSE training, awareness, and wellbeing campaigns
- Managing and analysing HSE data and trends to drive targeted action
- Supporting tenders, pre-qualifications, and work-winning activities with HSE input
- Working closely with project teams, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and JV partners
- Playing a key role in delivering the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy
