The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our Client: Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry, who are a strategic partner to Thames Water for AMP8 on Major Projects and Capital Frameworks across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions, predominantly for non-infrastructure assets.
The Role: Our client is looking for a Working Electrical Supervisor to join their Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team working on sites across the Thames Valley, supporting them in delivering electrical installation and supervision services.
You'll play a key role in their developing self-delivery team, carrying out hands-on electrical installation work whilst supervising and supporting fellow electricians. This is an opportunity to form a cornerstone of their MEICA delivery team, working on capital frameworks across Thames Water supply and treatment regions, providing design and build services for new and existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities: Installing low-voltage electrical systems for both temporary and permanent works, including containment systems, power and control cables, and testing installations
Supervising electricians and providing mentorship to apprentices, ensuring all works meet appropriate standards
Providing safe isolations of LV electrical systems and issuing electrical safety documents including Permit to Work and Isolation Certificates
Producing and reviewing electrical RAMS and project ITPs, carrying out electrical audits in line with our client’s ESRs
Supporting the development of commissioning documentation and working with the supply chain to fault find where required
Experience: Full driving licence and relevant JIB Gold Card or ECS card
Proven industry experience in the Water Industry (preferred but not essential) with competent judgement and problem-solving skills
C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations, NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations, and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test
IEE 18th edition wiring regulations, SMSTS, and Confined Spaces qualifications
Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant and equipment
