Your responsibilities as HR Manager
Lead day-to-day HR management, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees
Manage and support employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence, performance management and appraisals
Support recruitment, selection and onboarding, developing systems and processes where required
Guide managers on family-friendly policies, employee performance and employment processes to maintain legal compliance
Work with the external HR Consultant to maintain contracts, policies and the staff handbook in line with legislation and best practice
Support development, training and wider projects including employee surveys, wellbeing initiatives, salary benchmarking and job descriptions
What we’re looking for in a HR Manager
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience preferred
Demonstrable employee relations experience, including supporting managers through HR challenges and change
Manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or FMCG industry knowledge would be advantageous
Knowledge of Sage People
Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, on-site.
