Our client, a successful and expanding manufacturing business operating within the construction and building services sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager - Internal Sales to lead and develop its internal commercial operations.

This is a key leadership role focused on bringing together customer service, quotations, order processing and technical support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while supporting ambitious business growth plans.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will oversee the performance and development of key internal commercial functions. Working closely with sales, operations, finance and technical teams, you will improve processes, enhance customer service standards, drive CRM effectiveness and support organisational change.

You will also play a leading role in developing management information, improving quotation conversion, strengthening commercial processes and ensuring effective collaboration between internal and external sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop internal commercial teams

* Drive customer service excellence

* Improve quotation, pricing and margin performance

* Oversee CRM management and development

* Enhance order processing accuracy and efficiency

* Deliver continuous improvement initiatives

* Develop KPIs and performance reporting

* Support staff development and succession planning

* Strengthen cross-functional collaboration

* Coordinate organisational transition projects

About You

* 8+ years' commercial, sales support or management experience within HVAC or a related sector

* Proven people management experience

* Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills

* Experience with ERP and CRM systems

* Excellent communication and leadership abilities

* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

* Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
