Telehandler Operator | Darlington
Search Consultancy is currently appointing an experienced Telehandler Operator for a high-profile construction project in Darlington. As a leading national recruitment partner, we are dedicated to connecting high-calibre plant operators with the most significant developments in the North East.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of the telescopic handler, ensuring site efficiency through effective material management. Key duties include:
* Safely loading and unloading deliveries and distributing materials to various trades.
* Operating the machine in a busy site environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.
* Conducting daily vehicle safety inspections and ensuring the machine is well-maintained.
* Collaborating with site management to ensure project deadlines are met.
Technical Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* CPCS or NPORS (Essential).
* NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations (Telescopic Handler) - this is required to prove occupational competence for your blue card.
* Proven experience operating telehandlers on commercial or residential sites.
* Full PPE and a professional, safety-conscious approach to work.
