We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing business based in Thurrock.
This role will involve working across both the yard and workshop environment, moving large steel products and materials safely around site using a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck. You will support the manufacturing, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure products are moved, stored and loaded efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
* Moving steel products and materials around the yard and workshop
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Supporting goods in and dispatch operations
* Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
* Ensuring stock is stored, handled and transported safely
* Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties where required
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
* Valid FLT licence preferred
* Experience working within a manufacturing, warehouse or yard environment
* Comfortable handling large or heavy materials
* Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
* Due to the location, candidates will need to drive and have access to a vehicle
* Hours & Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Early finish every Friday
* Full-time permanent position
