Job Title: Production operative

Location: Haydock

Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday OR 10pm-6am Sunday-Thurday

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour 

12 week temp to perm contract

Shifts

Full time and part time shifts available from 1 shift a week to 5 shifts a week. 3 shifts available to choose from:

AM SHIFT: 6AM-2PM
PM SHIFT: 2PM-10PM
NIGHTS SHIFT: 10PM-6AM
Role & responsibilities:

Operating production machinery involved in the blending, mixing, packing, and processing of coffee and hot chocolate products.
Measuring and weighing ingredients according to production specifications and quality standards.
Monitoring production lines to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and safely.
Conducting quality checks on raw materials, finished products, packaging, and labelling.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and housekeeping throughout the production area.
Following Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and company procedures at all times.
Packing finished products ready for distribution and palletising where required.
Reporting equipment faults, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
Completing production records, batch documentation, and check sheets accurately.
Assisting with machine changeovers and cleaning processes between production runs.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets and customer requirements.

The Successful Candidate:

Previous experience within food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environments is desirable but not essential.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
Physically capable of standing for prolonged periods and undertaking manual handling duties.
