GPW Recruitment are working with an established, specialist manufacturer in Haydock to recruit Solderers, on a permanent basis.
As the Solder you will work days, Monday to Thursday: 08:00 until 16:30 and Friday: 08:00 until 13:00, this pays £13.25 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience
This role involves precision soldering of small scale connectors on military grade equipment and requires expertise in micro soldering or nano soldering, working under magnification.
You will work to daily production targets, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
As the Solderer you should have a strong understanding of solder quality and soldering to a high standard. Ideal candidates will have experience in soldering electronics manufacturing, military sectors or similar.
You will need:
* Strong soldering skills, nano soldering or micro soldering experience is highly beneficial
* Good manual dexterity
* Good time-management skills, to ensure orders meet delivery timescales and output reaches production targets.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Excellent attention to detail with a real focus on solder quality
* Candidates with an IPC Qualification would be of particular interest.
