Marketing Coordinator - UK and Europe

Role overview
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a broad set of skills, a proactive approach and the ambition to develop with the business.
The role will involve conducting market research, analysing data, supporting business development activity and regional events, and creating localised promotional materials that clearly communicate how The Gund Company’s products, manufacturing expertise, service, lead times and high-quality materials meet the needs of customers across the UK and Europe.
This role would suit someone who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and bringing creative, practical ideas to the team.
You will be organised, curious and self-motivated, with the confidence to work autonomously while staying well connected to colleagues across the wider global marketing function.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct market research and qualify results to determine potential customers and competitors.
* Help develop and integrate our regional marketing presence in the EU and UK, as well as support broader business development and customer outreach efforts.
* Maintain and optimise customer relationship management database to segment customers for targeted promotional communications.
* Manage social media pages and ensure messaging is aligned with company guidelines.
* Create and deliver integrated campaigns for qualified prospects and existing customers.
* Develop marketing materials for specific market segments (e-mailers, technical bulletins, presentations, and handbooks) and related internal training documents to support best practices.
* Capture, create, and communicate market performance data (sales trends, account status, and website analytic reports) to sales team on a consistent basis.
* Coordinate logistics and sales support for trade shows, develop targeted marketing collateral, and research markets or additional event-specific promotional opportunities.

Skills and Experience
You will ideally bring:
* Degree-level education in marketing, business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Previous experience in a marketing role, with exposure to campaign support, content creation, research, data analysis and internal or external communications.
* Strong written communication, organisation, research and data-management skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* A good understanding of core marketing principles, audience segmentation, customer communications and the importance of consistent brand messaging.
* Clear written and spoken English.
* A self-motivated and organised approach, with the confidence to work autonomously, take ownership, collaborate with international colleagues and bring creative ideas forward.
It would also be beneficial if you have:
* An additional qualification in marketing, digital marketing, communications or design.
* Experience working within an international business and/or manufacturing environment across UK and European markets.
* Experience with HTML, CRM systems, Adobe Acrobat or other design, email marketing or digital content tools.
* Awareness of local business culture, European markets and basic technical or manufacturing terminology.
* Second-language skills, particularly German.
* A curious, proactive and adaptable approach, with an interest in continuous improvement and developing marketing activity in a growing international business.
