The successful Purchase Ledger Assistant will play a vital responsibility in maintaining accurate financial records, processing purchase invoices, and supporting the company's financial operations. Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Maintain supplier accounts and ensure all records are current
Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment queries with suppliers and internal departments
Support payment runs and month-end activities
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
Assist with ad hoc finance administration tasks as requiredRequirements:
Proven experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance/accounts administrative role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritise workload effectively
Excellent communication skills and team-focused attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Knowledge of automotive industry processes or commercial vehicle accounting is advantageous but not essential
