Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Thursday 8am -4pm , Fridays 8am - 1.30pm

The Role - Metal Joining Operative
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Metal Joining Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be involved in precision metal joining processes, producing high-quality components and assemblies to exact customer specifications.
Metal Joining Operative Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
* Prepare and clean components prior to joining processes.
* Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements.
* Complete manufacturing documentation and job records accurately.
* Work in accordance with company procedures and quality standards, including AS9100 requirements.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
Skills & Experience
Desirable experience includes:
* Previous experience in welding, brazing, soldering or precision assembly
* Expe.rience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
