Contract: 12 Week Temporary to be with a view to being offered as a Permanent role
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per Week)
Pay: £13.35 p/h (£27,775 annual salary if offered permanent opportunity)
Stafflex are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds, supplying high-quality technical products to their worldwide client base.
We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join their production tea,. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys working with precision components, assemblies and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly, building and testing of small components and finished products
Working to engineering drawings, instructions and quality standards
Carrying out inspections and highlighting any quality issues
Completing job cards and updating systems accurately
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace (5S Standards)
Supporting equipment checks, maintenance and calibration
Contributing to continuous improvement and process efficienciesKey Requirements:
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
High attention to detail and quality
Comfortable working with small parts and technical assemblies
Ability to follow instruction and meet deadlines
Basic IT skills
Positive team player with a flexible approach
Experience within technical, engineering or material based manufacturing
Familiarity with inspections or testing process is beneficial but not essential
