The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Ready to take your grooming career beyond the salon?
Are you an experienced dog groomer with a passion for developing people and leading high-performing teams? Do you enjoy helping others succeed while still staying hands-on with grooming? If you're looking for the next step in your career, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and growing dog grooming business with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding customer service and the highest standards of animal welfare. They pride themselves on creating a supportive working environment where colleagues are encouraged to develop, progress and succeed. As they continue to expand, they're looking for a District Manager to support multiple salon locations and play a key role in their continued success.
About the Role
As District Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of several grooming salons, ensuring each site delivers exceptional service, maintains high operational standards and achieves its commercial objectives. You'll lead and support salon teams, recruit and develop colleagues, monitor performance and help drive business growth across your region.
This is a hands-on management role, so alongside coaching and supporting your teams, you'll continue grooming where required, leading by example and providing practical guidance to colleagues. You'll also work closely with the wider management team to maintain consistent standards, support new salon openings and ensure every location provides an outstanding experience for customers and their pets.
About You
You'll be an experienced and confident dog groomer who is ready to step into a multi-site leadership role. You'll have previous experience managing people within a grooming, retail or customer-focused environment and genuinely enjoy coaching and developing others.
You'll be organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities across different locations. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and animal welfare are essential, along with the flexibility to travel between salons as required.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact while continuing to do what you love, we'd love to hear from you.
