The Opportunity
We are currently seeking three experienced Senior Planners to support a portfolio of projects within the water utilities sector, working on key programmes associated with Northumbrian Water.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established project environment delivering critical infrastructure works, with long-term contract potential and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 (or equivalent)
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure accurate planning and reporting
Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement
Produce regular progress reports, dashboards, and earned value analysis
Support planning input across multiple projects within the utilities framework
Provide critical path analysis and advise on mitigation strategies
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on programme deliveryRequirements
Proven experience as a Senior Planner within the utilities or infrastructure sector
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 (essential)
Experience working on water or wastewater projects is highly desirable
Demonstrable ability to manage complex project schedules
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teamsContract Details
