This is a varied, fast-paced role combining client and temporary worker coordination, payroll administration, compliance, and customer service. We are looking for someone who is highly organised and accurate, but equally important is having the confidence and personality to communicate with clients and temporary workers throughout the day. You will be working as part of an established team, helping to manage and coordinate our temporary workforce and ensuring our Blue Chip clients receive an excellent level of service. You will help ensure shifts are fully covered, client requirements are met and any issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, confident, and naturally comfortable talking to people. You should be happy picking up the telephone, building relationships with clients and workers. You will be working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly, so you must be able to multi-task, work at speed and remain accurate under pressure. There is also a significant amount of compliance, payroll information and paperwork involved, making excellent attention to detail essential. Previous experience of payroll input or timesheet processing is required, while a background in sales administration, recruitment, customer service or another client-facing administrative role would be advantageous.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are important, as is the ability to juggle several priorities at once, We need someone with energy, initiative and a strong work ethic who is not afraid to get involved, support the wider team and learn new things. If you have previously worked in sales administration or recruitment, even better - you already understand the importance of great customer service, strong relationships and making things happen.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating temporary workers to ensure client shifts are covered and run smoothly
Preparing, checking, and inputting weekly timesheets onto the Merit payroll system and others
Chasing outstanding timesheets, hours and other information required to meet strict payroll deadlines
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
Providing comprehensive administrative support to the existing team
Conducting pre-screening of potential applicants
Following the relevant compliance procedures and strict applicant registration processes
Providing a high level of customer service to clients and temporary workers, both over the telephone and face to faceExperience within sales administration or recruitment would be particularly advantageous.
