The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're on the hunt for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take the reins of site electrical systems and keep everything running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
You’ll be the go-to expert for all things electrical – from substations and switchgear to motors, drives, and control systems. Think of yourself as the calm, technically brilliant force in the middle of the organised chaos!
This is an office‑based role (Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:00 & Friday 07:30 to 12:30) with real on‑the‑ground impact.
What you’ll be doing:
* Act as the technical authority for electrical systems across site
* Keep the power flowing to key production areas
* Troubleshoot faults and support breakdowns and outages
* Lead reliability improvements and reduce repeat failures
* Manage e2e electrical projects from idea
* Work closely with automation teams (PLC, SCADA, control systems)
* Champion safety, compliance, and best practice across everything you do
* Mentor others and freely knowledge share
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in heavy industry (power, utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.)
* Knowledge of power distribution, substations, transformers & protection systems
* Confident reading schematics and single-line diagrams
* Experience with electrical safety, isolation, and permit systems
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
* A calm head under pressure alongside great communication skills
* PLC / HMI / SCADA systems (Nice to have)
