The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
As Pump Engineer, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance and repair of wastewater and clean water systems across the site, ensuring operational reliability, compliance and continuity.
Working across sewage pumping stations, treatment plants and associated infrastructure, you will support both reactive and planned maintenance activities while maintaining high health & safety standards at all times.
This is a predominantly outdoor, site-based role within an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance and repair of wastewater pumping systems
Supporting sewage pumping stations and sewage treatment plants
Pump removal, installation and associated mechanical works
Maintenance of valves, chambers, pipework and drainage systems
Supporting reed beds, balancing ponds and lagoon infrastructure
Carrying out inspections, sampling and compliance activities
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
Supporting long-term site continuity and infrastructure management
Working collaboratively with operational and engineering teams About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience within wastewater or pumping systems
Strong mechanical engineering background
Hands-on experience with pump installation and removal
Experience working on sewage pumping stations or treatment plants
Good electrical knowledge and practical fault-finding capability
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
